Workshop Part 3: Build the Simplest Useful Thing 26:00
Course Contents

Lesson Overview

AI makes it tempting to build too much. The point is to build the smallest useful thing that proves whether the problem is real enough for someone to pay.

That might be a spreadsheet, a form, a concierge workflow, a short automation, a Notion tracker, a simple landing page, or a lightweight internal tool.

AI Prompt

Use this prompt after summarizing your calls:

Based on these customer call notes, identify the repeated painful problem, the existing workaround, the likely buyer, and the smallest paid solution I could launch in one weekend. Keep the solution manual where automation is not yet necessary.

Build Rules

  • Solve one painful job.
  • Use the customer’s language.
  • Keep setup time under one afternoon.
  • Avoid features that were not requested in calls.
  • Make the price and next step clear.

Practice

  • Write a one-sentence offer.
  • Create a simple delivery workflow.
  • Draft the first version of the sales page or proposal.
  • Send it back to two people from the calls.

Next Step

Move to launch once one customer says the offer describes the problem accurately.
